As part of our commitment to environmental sustainability and corporate responsibility, Weircapacity Limited proudly hosted a community-centered event to commemorate World Environment Day 2025, themed “Ending Plastic Waste Globally.”

The initiative brought together co-tenant organizations within the Bank of Industry Building to raise awareness on the dangers of plastic pollution and inspire behavioral change within our immediate community.

The event began with a brief, engaging discussion at the Weircapacity Training Hub, where participants reflected on the environmental impact of plastic waste and explored practical solutions to reduce its presence in our daily lives.

Change starts with awareness—and awareness begins at home.

Armed with flyers and placards carrying key messages, participants took to the surroundings of the BOI complex to engage with members of the public, promoting plastic waste reduction and environmental responsibility.

As part of our advocacy, attendees participated in a symbolic cleanup, collecting plastic waste within the vicinity to demonstrate the power of collective action in driving visible change.
