The Public Financial Management (PFM) Capacity-Building Program is a comprehensive initiative designed to enhance the capabilities and efficiency of government financial systems. This program addresses the critical need for strong PFM practices, aiming to empower public institutions to manage resources effectively, improve transparency, and foster sustainable economic development. Through a combination of human capacity (training) and institutional capacity (advisory) development, the program seeks to build robust financial management capacities within participating government entities.

 

APMG's PPP Certification Program aims to foster a common minimum level of knowledge and understanding amongst practitioners. It helps them leverage Finance and Efficiencies from the Private Sector and gives
them a certificate that demonstrates they have studied the PPP Certification Program Guide. The training
provides in-depth insight into all stages of a PPP process and therefore equips professionals and practitioners with the required knowledge to effectively participate in the preparation, implementation, and contract management of successful PPP projects.

The objective of The Public-Private Partnership (PPP) course is to establish a common understanding of PPPs and the significant opportunities for accelerated infrastructure development using PPPs. Beyond the understanding of PPPs, it is also important that ministries, departments, and agencies of government can appreciate PPP project administration and management, and the interfaces involved in the project delivery. More specifically, this course is designed to provide participants with an overview of the PPP process and project structuring to improve knowledge and understanding in areas critical to effective project development and management.
