The Certified Public-Private Partnership (CP3P) Program
CP3P Program is an innovation of the World Bank and other Multilateral Development Banks. It was developed by APMG, a renowned certification body based in the United Kingdom and is partly funded by the Public-Private Infrastructure Advisory Facility (PPIAF). It aims to foster a common understanding amongst PPP Practitioners and promote consistency of processes used in PPPs and the PPP lifecycle.
The three examinations in the APMG PPP Certification Program are, one Foundation level and two practitioner (Preparation and Execution) level examinations. Successful candidates are awarded a certificate for each level. Candidates can take one or both practitioner exams in any order.
However, taking the preparation exam before the execution exam follows the lifecycle of a PPP. Candidates who have passed all three exams will be entitled to use the CP3P credential.
CP3P Foundation Level
The CP3P Foundation training and examination is designed to test a candidate’s knowledge and understanding of the fundamentals of the PPP Guide to act as an informed team member of a PPP project. The Foundation certification is a prerequisite for the practitioner (Preparation and Execution) certifications.
